How can I pay on Friends Of The Ballet?


Payments for Memberships and Merchandise can be made by Card or Immediate EFT. We use PayFast as our Paygate service provider.

Is it safe to use Cards or Immediate EFT payments from the FOTB site?


We use a secure and safe payment gateway called PayFast whic handles a great deal of e-commerce transactions in South Africa. They are a PCI DSS Level 1 Certified Payment Providers so your card details are 100 % safe. No sensitive credit card details are stored on our Friends Of The Ballet website. We only keep your registration info on our website.

How do I know my order has gone through?


Once your order has been received and payment has been verified you will get an email confirming your order and that payment was received. If you do not receive a notification please have a look in your junk mail or spam mail all invoices are automated and may be directed to your junk mail. If you still do not receive your notification please contact us at info(at)fotb.co.za.

Where do you deliver to?


We deliver throughout South Africa to your office or home address, we do not deliver to PO Boxes at all as we need your signature on delivery. Please note that most deliveries will take place between 9-5 and you should use the address where you will be during those hours.

What are your delivery charges?


We have a standard flat rate delivery charge per order placed. This fee will appear on the checkout page when ordering on our website.

How long will it take to receive my delivery?


Delivery is done by our courier service to your door, and can take between 3-5 working days.

May I opt to collect my purchase?


Yes, merchandise purchased through the site can be collected from the Joburg Ballet Studios or at any Friends of the Ballet Merchandise tables on any event day. (You will need to give them your proof of purchase).

I am not happy with my purchase, can I return it?


We will happily exchange any product with a manufacturing defect (not wear and tear), please send any queries regarding returns to mike(at)fotb.co.za.

Do you ship to any countries outside of South Africa?

Yes, arrangements can be made to send merchandise via international courier, but due to the fluctuation on rates we can only quote a price at time of enquiry. If you'd like to enquire more info, please email mike(at)fotb.co.za.

Memberships:

Can I purchase multiple memberships on one transaction?


Unfortunately not. We utilize each username as the Membership Number and it really just creates confusion so we ask that each member wishing to join creates his/her own account and pays separately.

How do I pay for a renewal?


When you sign up for a new membership, you will receive an email notification with your username and password. Please keep this as your username will remain your username throughout. Thus, when you wish to renew your membership, we ask that you login to your account using your details received and re-purchase the membership plan.
